Transformation 2010

Intensive Contemporary Dance Workshop

It's already been four years that TransFormation vibrates to the pulse of dancers from Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, New-York, Québec, Boston, Mexico and Paris. This year again, from May 31st to June 11th 2010, come and make your self heard in the studios. We invite the new generation of artists to establish the new grounds that will be explored tomorrow. Jamie Wright, Marc Boivin and Ami Shulman propose to go beyond technical consensus. Anne Barry, Benoît Lachambre and Lin Snelling continue to reinvent the limits of the body as language. Drew Joffre, David Flewelling, Kelly Keenan and German Jauregui will joggle with time, risk and space. Louise Bédard, Marc Boivin and Dave St-Pierre invite you to enter their imaginative vista and in it, find your own.

TransFormation 4th edition will take place in Montreal from the 31st of May to June 11th 2010 in different studios in Montreal. This year and for the future, the event will be organized by David Pressault Danse in collaboration with Production Bizz. We would like to thank Circuit-Est centre chorégraphique for their continued support. It's a two week workshop for professional and pre-professional dancers, with established teachers and choreographers. This workshop can be experienced in its entirety (70h, Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m.) or you can make your own schedule adapted to your time availability. TransFormation is held during the International Festival TransAmérique which proposes a diverse programme of international dance and theatre companies.
